Great stamp heads, poorly designed holder

"Jeff's Wife" - all 4 heads are the same thickness and softness, they are sticky rather than sticky. These aren't the mildest of cleaners, but they're still gentler than most other cleaners. They're quite oily, so they either need to be washed with warm water and dish soap, dried and brushed with a lint roller, or rubbed with isopropyl alcohol and cleaned with a rag. cotton roller. DO NOT POLISH, FILE, ERASE WITH A MAGIC ERASER OR ACETONE. These methods work for opaque, non-sticky stamps, but can tear, scratch, or smudge clear heads, making them frankly useless since the whole purpose of clear stamps is to look clear for placement. They are also very delicate so be careful with them. They WILL BURN if pierced, stretched, or crushed with the edge of a nail. This will happen to ANY clever mind. They are beautiful! However, the keeper spoils it. You MUST remove the head you are not using to see through the holder properly and the shape mark, connection point or whatever it is called is right in the CENTER of the smaller end. That doesn't make it impossible, just very annoying. Another issue I have with the holder is that on the smaller end the "shelf" for holding the head is too shallow for such a thick head. This makes the head very, very hard (despite being soft) and when you put the cap on you can't close it properly because the cap is touching the head. Over time this will create a flat spot on the head (the nice shiny circle in the middle of the head in the last photo is where the cap touches the head). I can think of other things to use the holder but I probably won't be able to attach the cap and that's a bit of a shame because it's difficult to get the stamp head out of dust, lint, pet hair or the occasional shine to clean . Great heads but terrible holder.
