I've been using them for more than a year, both at home and on my desk. They're great for absorbing a few drops of coffee or whatever, but under a glass with something cold, condensation will cause the coaster to stick to the bottom of the glass. It can just be annoying when it slams back onto the table, too catastrophic for the stand (as shown in my photo) when it hits the ground when the glass is lifted and shatters right through it. That way the coffee rings don't end up on your tables, but condensation or a neat spill will make them stick to your glass. Maybe just use mugs with them?
