Packaging could be improved

I saw rave reviews about this coffee and wanted to try it. This brand isn't sold anywhere on the East Coast where I've lived, but they seem to be very environmentally and socially responsible (which I think is more like the West Coast, lol). I feel a little guilty about all the plastic I made for the convenience of Keurig, but hopefully not again when this brand is discovered! At first I was very surprised to see the first capsule that didn't have a plastic bottom or frame. kept the shape of a bucket and then I was disappointed when the first bag I opened had crumbly coffee grounds all over it. It turned out that one of the lids of the capsules was open. Maybe it's just bad luck as the other 7 packs seem fine by the looks of it - I've only opened 2 so far. Most importantly I'm very happy with the 2 flavors I've tried so far - Colombian and espresso. I'm not a coffee expert to determine their origin or bean value, but they are aromatic, fresh on the palate, with no tart taste. Here are some other popular grocery store unflavored coffee brands that I like or dislike. So, over the years, if you have a similar taste in coffee, you should try the San Francisco Bay Espresso (dark) and Columbian (medium) Joe's Columbian CoffeeMcCafe Premium Roast. I will check more flavors when I open them! Unfortunately I'm afraid to open more to try as the bags aren't resealable and the pods are very breathable so I don't think they're meant for the outdoors. They don't fit in my favorite KCup drawer organizer for the same reason. Everything for our country.

  • Suitable for many people
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
