As other reviews have mentioned this item will arrive very well packaged and in excellent condition. A clear diagram (nicely printed and included) makes it clear how to assemble the shelves in just minutes (essentially you build them upside down). It's perfect for my application - the wooden base goes well with the plastic shelves, the design is lightweight and very strong. The choice of two shelf heights and the freedom to include additional shelf spacers is a standout feature - you can change your mind later by changing the four possible build combinations as you see fit and as your equipment changes. I have a large Onkyo AV receiver downstairs, a small Samsung BluRay player and a Comcast Xfinity box sharing a second shelf, and upstairs my old Panasonic VCR/DVD combo (Panasonic doesn't have vents on top) with a Samsung LCD TV on a factory stand (that didn't spin by itself, oh!) Panasonic crowns. I needed this height to properly view the TV in my room - all of that, and the unit spins great and is rock solid. Very impressive. I can't live without a snifter anymore. I have nothing to do with the company or anyone, nobody gave me anything to write this review. I wrote this because I am so happy with the installation I completed a few minutes ago.
