After my kittens were neutered and spayed, they were afraid of the cat cone and found it very difficult to eat and drink with it (plus they kept picking up litter in the cone). Since I can't separate them I wanted to try out the life suits so they can't lick each other and their slits are covered. I originally made 4 DIY sweaters while waiting for them to be delivered and they quickly eluded them so I wasn't sure they would work but they did! I have a small for both and the small fits both perfectly. Basil (Tortie) managed to get her front legs out once, but that's because I didn't make the neck piece snug enough, so I adjusted it (love that it's adjustable) and she couldn't escape again. They still use the litter box and can walk, eat, drink and play with ease. Definitely recommend this instead of a cone. My cats had a little trouble walking at first, but they figured it out quickly, so don't be alarmed if your cat immediately flops onto the floor.
