Betty didn't like the spray cone so we gave her this and... money wasted! She weighs seven pounds and we are a medium size that fits perfectly. The rescue suit also has a calming effect on her when wearing it (she doesn't mind wearing it). The material stretches a bit and it stays cool, even if it's not intuitive. So the size in the product description is wrong. A nearly 6 lb cat who says she is medium sized. i have wednesday She escaped in less than 5 minutes. I added a belt, I hope it stays. I would say if your cat is 8 pounds or less, get a small one. 12 pounds or more will grow tall. It's very stretchy, so a determined kitten will run away. I'm not sure if the asshole is big enough to pee and poo, but I think I'll find out in the next 24 hours.

This is a good quality product, good stretchy and soft, so I think it will be comfortable for the cat to wear. Our cat doesn't. We struggled to put it on our cat after her surgery and had to give up. Instead, we have a donut-shaped collar. If you have a calm and accommodating cat, this will likely work. If you have a playful cat like ours, then try something different.
