My 5 lb, 6 month old kitten just had emergency surgery after she had her cone removed after being neutered and self mutilated. She has had to be in a cone and overalls for almost a month and the vet couldn't find the right size so we brought her home with a side for the dog (and therefore a diaper meaning she didn't tray properly could use in it). I ordered 2 of these suits in a small size and 1 in a medium size and the small fit perfectly. I was concerned about the velcro but it is incredibly strong. The fit is secure and comfortable enough that she doesn't have to fiddle with it at all. I couldn't adjust the neck to fit her cone with the string that was on it so I took it off and just threaded a piece of gauze through the neck to attach it to her cone and it stays in place beautifully. It's very thin though so I put maxi pads on the inside of her stomach to keep her incision a little soft and protected and it worked great. I've washed them several times and they're still in good condition, just be careful with the velcro. It is durable and washing will damage the fabric it is attached to. I would definitely recommend them if you have a small cat that needs a litter box to live in and use the litter box.
