The top nut is easy to round off.

I like the quality of the filter itself. I bought this filter specifically for the top nut which was easy to remove from my Street Bob. However, when I decided to remove it, it rounded off very quickly and I had to use a strap wrench to remove the filter the normal way. The shape of the walnut is strange. It gets bigger towards the bottom and is therefore not so well suited for a socket. Some people don't have a problem with it, but I didn't get any benefit from it.
