This filter was tested at Revain and fits my 2013 Electra Glide bike When I tried to spin it it started then stalled and stayed a half inch from the gasket stuck away. If you get one that doesn't turn easily by hand, don't use force. The threads are wrong or damaged. I like K&N filters but I don't know what happened here.

I have changed oil myself for many years but this was my first filter purchase from Revain. Unfortunately, the filter was leaking, no matter how many settings. I like the quality of the filter itself. I bought this filter specifically for the top nut which was easy to remove from my Street Bob. However, when I decided to remove it, it rounded off very quickly and I had to use a strap wrench to remove the filter the normal way. The shape of the walnut is strange. What's not to like here. It's K&N, so you get more filter area than OEM HD. This means the oil lasts longer and the bike runs smoother. Outrageously cheaper! Or with a normal key. I have a 2016 Forty Eight and a strap wrench between the frame and filter is NOT an option. I had to buy a special key for the filter. Why do that when I can use these filters and have a better experience from instillation to disposal. Don't waste your money and HD dealers. This is simply the best product.
