Amazing Children's Table

I have purchased several Melissa and Doug toys for my 3 nieces and 1 nephew over the years but never bought their furniture. As always, bring your game. This is one of the highest quality RTA furniture pieces I've seen, especially for kids. . The instructions could not have been clearer and assembly could not have been easier. The only thing I will say is that the instructions say not to use a drill and I am here to tell you that it is perfectly fine if you do. In fact, I highly recommend it. There are a total of 32 screws in the drawers, and using a hand screwdriver will tear your wrist and time. It took me just under an hour to complete the assembly, including unpacking all the parts with a few stops and moves, so as I said use a drill. I even used my impact wrench instead of a drill if that further clarifies my point. If you have the right Phillips bits and your drill bit has speed control, you should be fine. As I said, the quality of this table is top-notch, so I haven't experienced the stripping, tearing, or splitting that usually accompanies this type of build. All designs come with pre-installed brackets, which feel solid and can hold everything together. You will then use Phillips screws to tie everything else together. There are NO CAM SCREWS on this table, thank goodness because I hate them! Function: Two girls, almost 4 and 5 years old, will use it to snack, eat and do their own things including blocks, crafts and just typical toys. It's more than big enough to handle everything, maybe at the same time. The two drawers on each side offer enough space to store coloring books, crayons, paints and even toys, depending on the size. I also like that all surfaces are smooth and I don't have to worry about small hands getting splinters. Overall: I can't say enough about it. It's definitely worth the price if you're looking for a quality activity table for your child(ren) that will last until they're done. It's even white so it goes well with almost any chair you can find to go with it. My only advice is that you should pay close attention to the dimensions. It could be a little more than what you're looking for, depending on how much space you've set aside for it. Needless to say, I highly recommend it!
