Review on CIPA 49304 Convex Adjustable Mirror by Phillip Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good for the price: Parts

I'll start with the biggest negative that other people have noticed: poor packaging resulted in scratches on the mirror that could not be cleaned (in principle, the packaging is not sufficiently round the convex mirror and rubs in the middle during transportation or storage). However, this is not a bad product. Scratches do not affect your ability to see the reflection. It seems to be sticking well to my side mirror. And it serves its purpose: to improve my view of my blind spot. The size (2 inches) was perfect. If it were taller, it would prevent me from seeing through the rest of the side mirror. Also, I noticed that at least one reviewer asked why the mirror is described as rotating 360 degrees since it can only rotate in a circle. Well now I know the reason for this is that the mirror mount is actually thicker on one side than the other. So when you rotate it, it changes the viewing angle, making it somewhat adjustable depending on your personal preferences and needs. In other words, it does what it says on the tin. Update: Scratching interferes with effective mirror usage at night more than during the day. So I downgraded my rating to three stars.
