Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ XOSS G GPS Bike Computer: Wireless Bluetooth Speedometer and Odometer by Christopher Wells

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great budget bike computer.

After my expensive cell phone was my last bike computer, I decided it was time to invest in a real bike computer. XOSS G is perfect for me. For around $30 it has some quirks but does everything I need it to do. It has features that are unclear in the description but should be. I didn't want to add any additional sensors. Pros: Tracks your itinerary and climbs. The screen is bright enough in the sun. It's easy to turn on and finds GPS in less than 30 seconds most of the time. I find that it records distance and elevation accurately. It is very compact and charges quickly. The battery will last at least a couple of days of driving before needing to be recharged. No additional sensors are required. Cons: Instant data degrades on cloudy days or under heavy canopy. Under these conditions, the current speed may be temporarily disabled. Data syncing with the phone is shaky, but it works. The XOSS companion app is very unusual. Your device settings are not displayed in the same way throughout the app. If you just want to see your current speed, track miles, speed, route and altitude, this device is great.
