The LEDs in this kit are well made and very bright. I have used several cheaper kits similar to this one and have had very good luck with them. The tape is a general purpose tape and I would recommend getting a branded double sided tape if you decide to use this product anyway. My main complaint about the ECU is complete rubbish. I checked the light beforehand and the kit worked fine. Put it in the garage for a week until my new bike arrived and decided to test it again before proceeding with providing the bike. DEAD. I checked the fuses again, even swapped them, but still nothing. I tested the LED strips separately with another control box and they worked great. Decided to return and replace the kit. A replacement device came, everything was set up and grounded. Plugged it into a power source and the device ran for maybe 30 seconds before dying. I checked the LED lights again and they work fine. Blue Tooth app. The application is worthy if the control unit does not die. My phone automatically connected to the control unit without Bluetooth connection protection. So my guess is that if someone else has the same LEDs/software, the devices are likely to conflict if you get close enough. Overall I really wanted this hit to work as it offers so many LED strips and a built in brake function. But die before installing two ECUs? I'm not sure they'll last long enough to enjoy. I do not recommend buying this kit.
