Review on Vibrant Sunlite 7C7 Incandescent Candelabra Colored Bulb: Illuminate with Style by Sharon Smith

High quality 7C7 for incandescent lamps

I bought Sunlite 4C7 and 7C7 clear bulbs and some spray painted paints. This review focuses on clear varieties. I'm a lightbulb collector and an expert on many types of lightbulbs. They are of very high quality. The threads are neatly taut and do not sag even after prolonged use. With many inferior C7 bulbs, the filaments will sag and arc or be susceptible to static electricity and actually catch on the sides of the bulb causing premature failure. They do this much less often. I have Sunlite C7s both 4W and 7W. 7W incandescent bulbs have heavier filaments that are more durable and less prone to sagging. They are slightly brighter than the 4W version. Based on the observed color of the light emitted by the filament (it's softer and more yellowish than some other C7s), I'm predicting a lifespan in excess of the advertised 2000 hours. Mine haven't been used in over a month so I can't vouch for their durability. The soft color of the incandescent light makes them ideal for window candles and candoliers. As LEDs are gaining the upper hand and incandescent bulbs are getting harder to come by, I suggest stocking up on them. That's a great price.
