Perfect for DIY pool filters
I connected a 1.5" hose to it, attached two micro mesh bags and used it as a filter for a 10ft lap pool we had to buy this year . works perfectly. It's so strong it sucks the bottom of the pool so I used an old slotted metal pan as a base, perfect. I have it in my 5 gallon bucket now and hanging in the pool as a skimmer, also perfect. When I need to do a water change, I just use a longer hose and pump it straight down the drain pump downspout without flooding the garden. And now I have a backup sump pump in case something goes wrong with one of them. - to win.
