I bought my New Balance sneakers new for the first time in many years, not used (many years trying them to use at thrift stores), but I got a little windfall of a few hundred dollars and thought I'd treat myself. I noticed that the ones I bought were made in Vietnam. I'm glad they weren't made in China by slave labor!). Anyway, the $10 inserts I bought to replace the NB were a big improvement. I agree with those who complain that for such a price they should have quality side dishes. I love the suede look and plan on wearing them as dress shoes. I like the all gray look but for my taste I wish they were a bit darker. Small grouse actually. Overall I am happy with them and if possible I will repost or change this review in a year or two. If you are thinking of getting them I would say go for it.
