High quality perfect ballerinas for high arches

5 stars because they are high quality ballerinas with excellent arch support. I am 20 years old and have had plantar fasciitis since I was 11 years old. It's on my right foot and presents as a burning sensation in the center of the sole of my foot after a long day of walking/standing without good support. My podiatrist told me I could either get shoes with support or schedule surgery for my foot and pain. I ordered 7.5W as that is my "real" foot size. I find them comfortable immediately (I don't have any chafing on my heels like some other reviewers), but after a little stretching, they get a bit big, almost to the point where I could take them off too easily. . I can try 7W if I decide to order a 3rd color. They're expensive, but you get real orthotics that cost around $30-$40 if you buy them separately. And are you trying to fit an orthopedic insole into your apartment? Much luck! It's the best of both worlds. I'm so happy I found Vionic.
