We bought two of these for brand new puppies, small Vesti/Bichon crosses. First, these boxes didn't look nearly as pretty as I had hoped. I bought these because traditional metal cages look ugly and I wanted them to complement my decor. They only had brown, and it's definitely "Turd Brown". They look cheap and we certainly aren't worth the money. Our puppies were able to jump over the bars immediately. Eventually they grew big enough to chew on the bars one by one. The lock opened at random so they too could escape. After a few months we just had to throw away both kennels because they were torn. And let me tell you - it's not the giant, vicious dogs we have. These are just puppies of small breeds, which they easily destroy immediately. Perhaps if you have a very sleepy dog that never tries to get free and you don't mind poor quality, this would be the only pet owner I think would benefit.
