These things are compact, versatile and use only 1 watt each! I have purchased several 6 packs at a time and have installed them everywhere! I have a dozen mounted under eaves as home accent lighting as well as landscape lighting in my front yard. You can also use these for interior or exterior auto/home/cabin lighting. I just cut off the supplied cheap connectors and use grease filled wire nuts.I also didn't use all of the aluminum stakes and screwed the lights into 1/2" threaded outdoor weather boxes for use under my eaves. You can use any 1-2 amp 12 vdc plug in transformer and cut/splice on to common 18/2 or 16/2 wiring. Circuits can be long with many lights due to the extremely low wattage use. The light is warm an is comparable to a 40 watt incandescent candelabra light. Not great for task or work light but for DIY interior/exterior accent/landscaping, these can't be beat.
