Review on UClear Motion 6 Dual by James Holker

I used to have a pair of HBC200's and one of them stopped charging after about 3 years when I bought a new set and I was having trouble with the intercom clarity. The woman wants to return the old device. The old system allowed both drivers to restore intercom, but with u-clear it was necessary to fiddle with both devices to restore intercom after one was disconnected (to call or listen to the radio). I also struggle with having to adjust the GPS voice volume during intercom. I have to turn off the phone's bluetooth as the bike connects to the phone making it difficult to use the app to set up. I had to disable the "motion sensor" as head and shoulder movements continued to control the volume. The old system had the microphone built into the speaker, but the new system requires the microphone to be installed (on a 3-4 inch extension) which makes installation difficult. I have yet to call the device, so I can't comment on the sound of it. Finally, the process of connecting the intercom between the two devices creates a very loud 2-second beep that is painful to endure. Perhaps the manufacturer will fix these problems with a firmware update.
