I've only used it to set about 14 8mm hex rivets in a van (and 4 scrap tests before trying the van) and overall I'm very happy with it, performance and quality seem to be its all good so far. Once I figured that out, each one took about 30 seconds to install with very consistent results. I would give it a 5 if there weren't two things: 1) the instructions are terrible. They're missing important information, like when to adjust the lower collar position, and they even have gross typos in the instructions that make you wonder which ones ("Repeat steps B through D, E through F times ? What does that mean? ) ; 2) It came with a 1/4-20 mandrel installed. It does not fit in the housing with built-in mandrel and was therefore pressed in. Or make a larger body where it fits. or not install. why would you do that It makes no sense. The body is deformed by the tip of the mandrel with a large bulge where it was pressed. I hope the mandrel wasn't damaged, but I haven't tried it yet. I would buy it again. I see that the smaller one is a lot cheaper now. It doesn't take much effort to do this, so if I were to do it again I'd save $20 and buy the one with the shorter arms.
