These socks are great value for money. I have used this Mt. They were quite tight around my calves and ankles but were comfortable. They are fixed over the entire length of the leggings with Velcro. The only minor issue was that it couldn't wrap completely around the neck of the climbing shoes so there was a small gap in the middle that couldn't be repaired, but that didn't cause any problems as the gaiters stayed attached. The gaiters did a great job keeping the snow out, the straps were secure and held up great during a day of climbing. They will probably wear out fairly quickly if used frequently, but for occasional use you can't beat the price.
