Cools the AV receiver well in the built-in cabinet. I noticed that the inside of the case got hot very quickly after installing a powerful AV receiver to drive the built-in speakers mounted on the ceiling of our new family room. This triple fan was installed at the top of a cabinet with a white front panel and a second white front panel at the bottom of the cabinet for air intake. Looks good. It's a shame they don't offer a white faceplate as a factory-installed option, as it's expensive and quite a hassle to install with numerous screws and no instructions. If you have enough hands, it's doable.
