Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 205/60 R16 96T winter by Jnis Kokins ᠌

The product can be used, I expected a little more.

Seat Leon size 195/65R15 140 horsepower Tires accepted the financial obligations at that time. Two and a half winters' worth of travel on tires. Impression is a vague concept. Although the rims were verified on the machine before mounting, and they were even, I had to spin the tires on the rims multiple times to eliminate imbalance and runout. There was still a noticeable beating on one wheel, though. 40–70 grams of cargo were released each wheel. The tires are robust and act well on the road; despite driving past rails and pits, there were no bumps or cuts, and all the spikes remained in place for two winters. They also accelerate and brake quickly in every situation. On dry pavement, the side grip is still reasonable, but on wet and icy surfaces with a tiny overspeed, you can feel the car starting to "revenge with its tail." The problem is not that the automobile skids; any tire will perform similarly. Rather, the problem is that the breakdown happens suddenly and far earlier than you might anticipate from tires made by a top manufacturer. I view this as a major disadvantage in civilian driving since few are prepared for such tire behavior. But the noise on the pavement is what bothers me the most. While it is still bearable at city speeds, the noise is unbearably loud when traveling outside the city at speeds of more over 100 km/h. I switched the Ice Zero to quieter studded tires from another brand at the start of this snowless winter because I was driving a lot on the tracks. After Pirelli, picking such products in any price range is simple; the majority will be quieter. I can only suggest Ice Zero to people who often drive on snow and ice in the winter and do not engage in competitive racing. It is best to consider alternate tires if you must travel on dry or wet asphalt for an extended period of time throughout the winter.

Pros
  • rides really good on asphalt, accelerates and brakes nicely on ice. There is no aquaplaning at city speeds since it is unafraid of puddles and winter slush. maintains its surges. Excellent cross-country capabilities allow the automobile to stop in the snow just by sitting on its belly.
Cons
  • Highway-speed noise, balancing, and geometry.
