I'm not a gamer, not an overclocker. I work with video. Therefore, all my conclusions are based on working with adobe and da vinci applications. For two years now I have been wanting to assemble a powerful workstation for myself at home, I originally planned the 9960x, then the red 3950x (which I eventually got at work), but quite by accident and with great doubts I bought this particular processor, as I saw it at a very good price. Having the possibility of a direct comparison with the red "desktop" flagship on 16 cores, I can say unequivocally - I DO NOT regret it a bit. "Overpayment for the brand" in 10tr (at that time) fully justified itself. As I said, the processor is not the coldest, so the air is doubtful. I did not take risks and immediately installed dropsy (Enermax Liqfusion 360 + thermal paste arctic cooling mx4). With a slight overclock to 4300, the operating temperature never exceeded 70 even at the highest loads. On average, it keeps 63-65. At idle - 35-36.
