Review on CANWAY Portable Wood Burning Camping Stove - Windproof & Anti-Slip Stainless Steel Backpacking Survival Stove With Bag For Outdoor Hiking, Travel, Picnic, And BBQ by Ken Ventura

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So worth having in your backpack when camping or hiking!

I bought this to bring with me when I go camping. I have used it about 5 times so far since I have purchased it and I have to say that it is awesome! It is great that I do not have to buy fuel canisters any longer in order to heat up my water or food. The only downside to this is when it rains or has rained and the trees and ground get wet. Collecting small wet sticks will not work in the stove. NONETHELESS, I have found a solution! I went to Home Depot and bought a big bag of wood pellets! They burn for a LONG time and without all the smoke that sap and bark give off when burned in fire. I bring a couple Ziploc bags full of the wood pellets with me for backup, so that when it does rain or I cannot find any branches to brake up I still can heat up water and prepare food.I love that this stove breaks down into 3 separate pieces which all fit into a 775ml MSR Alpine Stowaway Pot (bought it separately, but totally worth the purchase as well). When put into the 775ml pot it can still fit into the little mesh carrying bag that comes with the wood stove. The mesh bag is great because it keeps all the black ash from getting on anything in your backpack!I highly recommend this product for anyone who loves camping and/ or hiking and does not want to continually have to buy fuel canisters. I give this 5 out of 5 stars.
