The case of the BMW X3 key fob broke when trying to replace the battery. Ouch! But the inside was still fine so I bought this case hoping we could avoid going to the dealer who was offering over $500 for a new keychain. It totally worked! You still have to have the innards, but all the parts and the battery fit perfectly (battery not included, we already had it). So we solved our problem for little money. Wonderful! The case doesn't look as strong (although it wasn't the original), but the main thing is that our key fob works again! (PS Will be delivered without BMW sticker for the case.)
