Very good very large pillows

I'll say right away that I'm very picky about pillows and as an avid insomniac I've struggled to find new pillows for a good nights sleep every time I'm worn out a successful one so far. I've always hesitated to shop online, but whenever the products I personally chose didn't satisfy me, I figured I had nothing to lose and decided to roll the dice. Just a few nights for now. I'm glad I did! I have them queen sized - and when you take them out of the amazingly small vacuum bags they just stretch and expand like a pillow that New York ate! They grow very large very quickly, so much so that packing them into a pillowcase takes serious effort and patient stuffing, like trying to stuff a size 18 matron into a size 2 cocktail dress! And then, just like the dress, the pillowcase looked like a sausage casing before it burst. I tried it out the first night, but while moderately soft and a bit pliable, it was still too thick. for a side sleeper like me. Luckily, the manufacturer made it very easy and convenient to remove some of the filling and customize the pillow to your liking, which I did around 3am. The outer (bamboo) cover zips up, the inner (cotton) cover also closes instantly and you can pull out as much as you need. For me, it was a few large handfuls that I stuffed into a large ziplock bag for safekeeping. After rezipping both zippers, I just gave it a little shake and fluffed it up and the stuffing redistributed perfectly to fill the available space. In the photos, the one on the left with the light body is the one I scaled down and the one on the right with the charcoal body is still the original fill. You can't tell it from the picture, but while the one I changed in appearance is just a tad smaller, it's much softer and more pliable, and now cradles my head in a soft cloud of comfort rather than in the clouds keep . I can remove a bit more but I'll try for a few nights first - the nice thing is I can quickly and easily add and remove toppings until I get what I want! The filling itself is unique, I've never seen anything like it. Before. Fiberfill, or gelfill as they call it, are small individual pieces of fiber, like small balls of fluff instead of cotton, or large clumps of fiberfill, and thousands of small clumps (very small) mixed in with it. , not old-style chopped foam) from what I believe to be memory foam. Whatever it is, it fluffs up nicely and doesn't stick together into a lumpy, uncomfortable mess, at least not when you first start using it. I find it very comfortable and surprisingly fluffy. As for temperature and smell, which I've seen some comments about, I find August-September a bit warm but not bad, and after a few months of winter I think it will feel even better. I've seen others mention the smell of it: I've been selling styrofoam products (boards, mattress pads, pillows, etc.) for years and these pillows have had a very faint hint of the same smell for the first few years. hours or days. For me it was simple and not objectionable, but in any case it passes within a few days and is no longer noticeable. Accordingly, I attribute the very characteristic but mild smell to the foam pieces rather than the bamboo boxes, but in any case I had no particular problems with it. be able to easily customize your pillow to your liking; Because they are so easy to adjust I think they will suit those who sleep on their side, back or stomach, all of whom should be able to adjust the pillow to suit their needs. They should probably only be avoided by those who prefer a firm, very firm pillow; Even stuffed full I would describe them as moderately firm.
