I wasn't impressed at all with this funnel. I'm really shocked that it has all these rave reviews, I wonder if those reviewers even used it. The sieve doesn't stand still, so it doesn't bother you at all. I bought these because I needed to strain kefir grains and this certainly can't be used for that. I've also tried straining the tea leaves, doesn't work. The small mesh screen has no mechanism to hold it in place. So when you pour it, it just slides out of the way, letting liquid and all through. Still, I like the rubber grips that hold the funnel in the bottle, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one. This item is ONLY suitable as a funnel. Don't buy this if you really want to wear something out.
