Provides the correct height

I already have one. I bought it for my sister who had knee surgery. According to my sister, "It's perfect." The pillow makes it easier to raise your legs and at the right angle. No need for multiple pads that shift and don't stay in place. I am an occupational therapist. I've found that most people don't understand the purpose of raising an arm or leg after an injury or surgery. You need to lift it so gravity can help your lymphatic system pump fluid out of the limb. Think of your leg or arm as a ramp. If you put a ball on it, the ball should roll towards your body. This pillow has the foot slightly above the knee, which ensures the correct position for lifting.
