Decent wetsuit for the price. The big surf brands are better but also cost a lot more. If your kid surfs every day I'd buy a better chest zip, but if the goal is just to keep them warm while playing/boogie boarding in cold water, this should work. I couldn't find a signature suit for sale in my son's size so we settled on this one. The material feels soft and has a bit of stretch, more than I expected for the price. The fit is ok not as snug as it should be but some kids like mine are just skinny and even big brands don't fit snugly. I saw some other reviews complaining about the chemical smell, we didn't notice it on this one. Ordered a sample "Hero". Can't speak about warmth yet as I bought it for the upcoming winter season. I can update when the water cools down. I'm giving it a 4/5 because I know what a quality wetsuit is, which it isn't, but it should do the job without breaking the bank.
