I have been plagued with a low grade of chronic pain in my lower back from a childhood injury, and restless leg syndrome that has made having a good night's sleep rare for several years. I knew that being a side sleeper was making the problem worse, but no matter what mattress I bought, I always ended up on my side and awake after a couple hours sleep with little hope of getting into a deep sleep again for the rest of the night. A chance comment by a friend led me to consider getting an adjustable bed. It took a few nights to get used to it but found it surprisingly effective. I still don't sleep like a baby, but the quality of sleep has definitely improved so I no longer feel sleep deprived. I still take me restless leg medicine, but no longer require OTC pain medication.I do want to mention a video attached to this product showed the legs as wobbly, which concerned me. What that video showed couldn't have been with this bed. The legs firmly screw into directly to the sturdy frame and it is solid as a rock. I am a 73 year old female so you know I don't have some superhuman strength and that is my result in assembling the frame.
