The door latch strike plates that come with the Elan levers are longer and shaped differently than the original strike plates at my house, so I ordered Prime-Line Products E 2457 door strike plates instead so I didn't have to cut into the door frame trim. . These levers are a pleasure to open and will add a clean, updated look to your home. I also like how the end of the lever points backwards, which reduces the chance of snagging on clothing, purse straps, etc.
