It's funny in itself that I wanted to leave such a review on this not very small dustpan. Considering the reviews are overwhelmingly cheap and 3-star reviews aren't very prominent, I'd really appreciate it if someone clicked "helpful" on this review. This shovel is big, well built and sifts efficiently, but there is one feature that kills the entire product for me. After a month of patience I just can't take it anymore. I ordered another shovel today to replace this one and I can't wait. The "function" I'm talking about is the . the "ragged edge" highlighted as a big plus in the product photos, but in reality this feature is a terrible flaw. I didn't pay attention to it when I ordered it and it became more and more annoying as I used it. In fact, adding teeth to the lip of a litter box is a terrible idea: most litter boxes are plastic, and that stupid lip sweeps up litter like crazy. I hear squeaky noises when I have to scoop very close to the bottom of the tray. I can only imagine how many microbes fester in those cracks on the surface damaged by that shovel. In addition, the "serrated edge" increases the breakage of the urine pellets, which means that the scooping process takes longer and these fragments fall through the sieve. There is a Chinese idiom "adding legs and feet when drawing a snake". That's exactly what I feel about this product too: additional features and additional effort do not always mean better results. I just ordered another smooth-edged shovel. (And the irony is that Revain asks you to rate "durability, ease of use and easy cleaning" as attributes of this product, of course it gets 5 on all those parameters, but it's still a terrible design!)
