These weather resistant (exactly characterized by ACCEL) are the ideal solution for wet, wet and/or corrosive applications such as marine, automotive or motorcycle applications. Laying on individual wires as well as on the working side of the connector is very effective. Crimping connector pins to conductors is best done with a suitable tool, but this can be done with care and a small pair of pliers. I solder mine after crimping, a small extra step, but I've NEVER had any failures. Replacement pins and a pin removal tool are available.
