Review on Vileda Ultramax set by Celina Sikora ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

This is not the company's debut mops. For a while, I used Twist, which is heavier but can be wrung out practically dry (I eventually gave it to an old relative and had to put up with the inconvenience of using a different kind of floor cleaner). The slimmer Ultramax handle and nozzle make it easier to clean in tight spaces, such as under mattresses. The dust and dirt on the floor are perfectly collected by both mops. I have tried different floor cleaning tools, but after a few uses, the nozzle usually starts to distribute dust and hair throughout its path of action (especially if it's not brand new). Nozzles at Vileda have undergone extensive testing over many years; it is possible that they may get slightly harsher with use, but this is not a cause for concern. In the picture, I picked up exactly this kind of filth off the floor (even if it didn't appear unclean at first glance): everything was crumpled and nothing was twisted around the nozzle, so it was practically spotless.

Pros
  • Beautifully capturing dust, wool, and debris without spreading it around, the nozzle may be easily cleaned by hand or in a machine. The nozzles are long-lasting and efficient. Excellent style; appears to be well-made and aesthetically pleasing. A detachable wringer is included within the bucket. If the price is right, it's well worth it.
Cons
  • When washing laminate flooring, it wrings out effectively, although I'd prefer a higher spin speed. The Twist model, by contrast, can be wrung out until it's nearly dry, meaning it can dry the floor in a matter of minutes. The Ultramax line is 10 minutes longer, but the people waiting in it are intolerable ((.

Got pros: Comfortable to get into hard to reach places. There is a bucket Cons below: Sometimes it does not wring out a rag, for parquet you need to be more careful.

Has some pros The mop and bucket design with wringer virtually eliminates the need for hand contact with the cloth. The pile of the rag has the optimal size to retain moisture and wash away dirt. Different cons: wringing rags-medium. The cloth is very damp. If you need to wipe dry, you have to remove the rag, but it's not so easy.

With its pros. Good equipment for daily wet cleaning. Some cons: When washing dark glossy tiles, stains are visible.
