This cable worked with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3
I read that my used Panasonic Lumix LX3 needed a special USB cable to transfer photos to a computer. I don't know if that's true or if you just need a special cable because I think Panasonic has some other features on this connector. But this cable worked for me and I was able to use my computer to retrieve photos from the camera.
