Smells like gasoline or other potentially harmful chemicals. Don't let your pet near you. I soaked it in vinegar for 24 hours to sanitize and I tossed it in the washing machine without detergent and the smell is still strong. This item currently resides in my laundry room until I find a non-pet use for it.
