Aside from wasting time on this device, this is a great place for your dog to feel safe. Your own space is protected by the top, but the zips are left open for a sense of openness. I think the device would have been much better if the metal used had been left in the bell tent to make it more durable. If your puppy has to stand on its side now, it will fall over. Otherwise, this is the perfect solution for your pup for a short time. We plan to use it as our own space when our pup grows up and we don't have to worry about him coming out. I would NOT recommend this block if you are not present as you can find a way out if you really want to. . That way they don't try to lift the floor with velcro.
