All very good,Except the fact that the part that holds the phone falls off the neck portion, the pins in the back will need glued on in order to stay on, if you hit a big bump it falls off the neck, and YES, its installed properly.

They may have designed it to be able to take it apart later, however it would of been better with an optional install, screws or lock pins or something.Just a little 5 minute epoxy and your all set, it will be fine after that.Would I recommend this, sure, just glue the top portion that actually holds the phone to the neck portion.
