I was fed up with this product when I started using it. I've used it to grind fairly soft cheeses, but it didn't seem to do anything other than make a mess out of it. Then I tried changing the blades on it. It started tearing, but then I got small curly cuts. When I took it apart to wash it, I noticed that it didn't have the right blades. Once I put everything back together (with the right cleavers) everything worked great. I grounded my chess with no problems. I've since used it on other cheeses and potatoes, and as long as I use the right blades for the job and the right blades, it does an excellent job. I couldn't get it to suck all the way to the counter at first, but I found that if you put a little pressure on the top as you turn the locking device, it sucks so hard it can't be moved. The only problem I see at the moment is the lack of instructions, but if you look at them closely enough they will give you the information you need. But the information sheet is very small. It would be better if they increased its size. I don't think it increases the cost and makes it easier to understand. The pictures are damn small.
