There are some variations, but tolerable on the whole.

I took to replace wifi from the Rostelecom gpon terminal with the hope of increasing the signal - it got a little better. I compare with asus rt-n18u. Has some pros: Design. Easy setup through the app. POE power. It can work both as a router and as an access point (everywhere they write only about the access point). Works stably - I don't remember ever forcing it to reboot. Backlight (if anyone cares). Has some cons: It comes without any power adapters, in general (if everyone still has a lotโ€ฆ

Stylish and functional

Stylish little WiFi routers. My only complaint is that the preloaded password/username printed on the device is so small that you might need a magnifying glass to read it. Luckily, Ubiquiti has made it easy to reset your router with a paperclip so you can set your own username and password. I've just started rolling them out to clients and haven't had any complaints yet.

Pros
  • Not cheap but neat
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

disappointment exercise.

Bought 7 months ago. I have to reboot at least once a week. The firmware has been updated. Regular Android device detection issues. Now it works but can't connect and looks like it lost the password. It's not a self-reset as it still has a Wi-Fi ID. I'm a network administrator and this product was a disappointment. Throw it away, order an openWRT-based device.

  • Excellent design

Wonderful product at half the price of what it costs

It's fast for 2.4GHz and the coverage is very good for its small size and no visible antennas. I use this and Loco m2 on my camper and my camper in law. Internet is a must for kids and streaming services like Hulu, Netflix etc. Ubiquiti makes great products and you can outfit an RV with both of these devices for $80 right now. With the additional hardware required, my grand total was $130. These are the hardware, wiring, sealant, and mounting hardware to complete the job. My internet connection

Less than 6 months - it stopped working

AirCube ISP bought in June 2018. Earned instantly. In the last 2 months it stopped and had to restart. Stopped working last week. I can't get it to work anymore. The SSID is no longer broadcast. Tried reset 5 times to no avail. Tried QR code but SSID aircube-xxx is not displayed. RMA to the supplier. get a replacement device. However, the device does not broadcast its SSID. The mobile application shows that UNMS wants to join the "aircube-16F" Wi-Fi network. Then no connection to the networkโ€ฆ

Exceeded my expectations

Wow Ubiquiti really nailed this model. Aesthetically pleasing and easy to customize with the phone app. Also has a web browser interface if you prefer that route. Powered by either POE with pass-through or Micro-USB! I have a power supply in my central equipment rack and use it for remote powering over the LAN interface. With pass-through power, I used the WAN interface to power the Ubiquiti security camera. I configured the device as a simple access point. Even with low power consumption, theโ€ฆ

Great little hotspot to build a wifi booster for an RV

I bought this hotspot to build a wifi booster for my RV. I liked that it is small and powerful. I've always had good luck with Ubiquiti products, even if the setup is a bit advanced. My only complaint was that I was disappointed that the USB power doesn't power the POE connection, so I can't just use the USB in a 120v outlet. This was an easy fix as I have a 150 -W inverter which was tiny and worked great.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Annoying

Not the same as a standard AirCube but still a nice little box

I bought this to pair with my existing AirCube and create a wireless mesh network. I bought the ISP version because it was cheaper. While I was able to create a mesh network, the default AirCube should be used as the relay instead of the AirCube ISP. That bug aside, I was happy with the AirCube ISP and it worked just as well as the stock AirCube. For reference, I'm using Ubiquity Edge Router X for DHCP and routing, while AirCube and AirCube ISP only provide wireless network connections.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Great price

Very Affordable Wireless Access Point Item

I had horrible non-working Wi-Fi in my garage and yard so I ran cables to each location and figured a hotspot would be the best option. Most dedicated hotspots are very expensive (over $50 and some over $100!) so I was hesitant to buy a cheap one thinking the product wouldn't be good. At $30 each, this was the best investment I've ever made. Strong fast WiFi with no problems. I set it up in bridge mode and it worked fine with my Netgear router.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Pretty OK
