Update: It's been a few months and they've been used and washed MANY times (I have a toddler who makes a lot of messes). I'm happy to report that at least 90% of these fabrics still look new. Those missing the integrity of the product, with no visible "wear" or loss of absorbency, just small stains or a "hard" spot. Considering I use them for everything and have used them so many times this is acceptable to me and better than I expected for such a low price. I absolutely still support this product. -----Like the other reviewer, after seeing how soft and frankly pretty they were, I was quite skeptical that they would be able to handle the cleaning I planned to do. for her. I almost sent them to the bathroom to use as face towels, but I decided to give them a try. I was NOT disappointed! Somehow, despite being so soft and dainty, these little fellows have an amazing ability to groom. They've easily dealt with 10 months of dust and dirt on the blinds, years of dirt on the side of the fridge (to be honest I thought it was painted yellow but it's now pure white again) and cleaned all the surfaces of the fridge with no problem cabinets and boxes. . After easily cleaning an oil-covered pan after cooking bacon and eggs, I decided to try it on a sink full of dishes. It only needed an extra pad to scrub a dishes. Used a clean one to dry and was amazed at how much water it absorbed. I was so impressed I almost jumped up and ordered another pack but decided to wait and see how they look after washing and drying as the previous range of cleaning wipes I tried worked great but particles caught in the laundry. I literally had to pull the trash out of the fibers. But they are like new! I love it so much I'm going to order another set!
