Incredible thing. We restored our 2004 18 foot open boat. It has been outside for over 5 years (maybe more) uncoated and the fiberglass is badly oxidized. We started buffing the sides of the deck with this stuff and it's amazing. The shiny surface is restored and the chalky texture is completely removed. We are absolutely amazed at how well it worked. It takes a while, we only worked about an hour before we had to stop because it started raining. We plan to do the rest of the boat on the next free sunny weekend we have. I definitely suggest using some sort of stream buffer. We used a cheap drill that worked great, but if you see yourself doing this a lot I'd invest in something better. Hand polishing worked on small areas like the console, but requires a lot of effort and is slow. Also, the buffer generated some dust from the product, but we just hosed down the deck and it went straight down the drain. Even on the parts we polished, water has accumulated, as it should! Overall a great product that we will continue to use on our boat to keep it shiny and protected!
