This is a great "tool" that can be used for various purposes in the fish cave. Works great in DIY aquarium filters (box, sponge, cooktop, etc.); and also useful in live food cultures for plugging air vents to allow air to move freely but prevent pests from entering (although a thinner sponge would be more ideal for this). In a pinch, I've also used it as a washcloth to quickly clean the aquarium pane. Apart from that, there are many DIY uses. Good product at a good price.
