A friend who has two dogs and two of these collars recommended this one to me. I have used training collars on other dogs in the past and they have been fine. But this one is amazing. I love that you can use a beep or a vibration and that it's not just a "shock collar". I know it's necessary sometimes, but I just don't like using it on my dogs unless it's necessary. My dog loves to play ball, but almost never drops it (very annoying!) and because he's not motivated by food at all. I tried all kinds of workouts with her but nothing worked. So my friends let me borrow one of their collars and it worked like magic. Now she only responds to the beep (vibrations scare her and she doesn't like it) and often I don't even need a collar. She quickly learned her lesson and now throws the ball on command.
