Works well - Collars

This color works well but the battery life doesn't seem to be as good as previous versions. I like that it's light and smooth. My dog doesn't even realize it's on. I like the vibration function on this model. Often using a sound or vibration is enough to get my dog's attention. Bought this collar because of the vibration. It's enough to distract my dog from what he's doing. LAUGH OUT LOUD. If you have hounds or hounds and need a stronger fix, increase this to 15 for this to work for you. A…

The 600 yard model was a little disappointing

I have a 15 year old Innotek collar it was great. I no longer have a charger for it and didn't realize I still had a collar until tonight. But I realized how great it is and decided to buy another one. This new model is a disappointment. The sound is ok, the static is ok but the vibration is very weak. I hold on to the collar, I can hardly feel it. Not to mention, Petsafe charges an additional $7 for longer probes for long-haired dogs. It is a pity. Are you spending an average of $150 on these…

Electronic Training Collars Worth Every Penny

A friend who has two dogs and two of these collars recommended this one to me. I have used training collars on other dogs in the past and they have been fine. But this one is amazing. I love that you can use a beep or a vibration and that it's not just a "shock collar". I know it's necessary sometimes, but I just don't like using it on my dogs unless it's necessary. My dog loves to play ball, but almost never drops it (very annoying!) and because he's not motivated by food at all. I tried all…

Bad design everywhere

I was hoping this remote trainer would fit my two dogs. We use an invisible pet fence that works decently so there was no reason to think this product wouldn't work for us. God I was wrong. Collars don't stay in place and are difficult to adjust. The freer, the more our dogs run, which primarily deserves the presence of collars. The buttons on the remote are in an odd place and hard to press. There is no indication that your thumb is on the right key when correcting. I accidentally corrected my

Look elsewhere!: Collars

This is the second PetSafe collar I have bought for my German Shepherd who weighs about 80 pounds. He's a year and a half old and after moving to a new home with no fenced yard or invisible fence, he thought it would be a good workout. The Elite was my first PetSafe collar. I only take the second one because I lost the first one and later found it under a dog blanket in my car. I liked the first version of this collar I had before but after purchasing an updated new version I gave the old…
