This is great for recording verbal audio and listening to it later. The microphones are very good, they capture from a long distance. The speaker on this one is also very good for its size, and words come out clearly and audibly. The microSD slot works (only tried with a small card at the moment) and combined with 16GB of storage it will write A LOT before filling up. Or you can also use the microSD for music and use it as a kind of MP3 player to save phone battery. Robust construction and fits well in the hand. It's small enough to easily fit in a purse or even a breast pocket. However, the LCD screen is harder to read at night than during the day, and being such a thin recorder it can become something of an eye test at the end of a long day. If you enjoy taking verbal notes, need to record lectures or other assignments, it is highly recommended.
