Review on 🧡 Quilter's Cut'n Press by June Tailor: The Ultimate Tool for Precise Quilting by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Does the job, protects my desk but comes with no protective sleeve or carrying case

Smells awful when first opened and the label says it's made with chemicals that cause cancer. oh joy I wanted to make my own but didn't want to wait at the hardware store to cut a piece of plywood to cover with cotton wool, fabric and a stapler. I've had one of these before and my biggest complaint is that it doesn't come with a lid so over time it gets dirty with dust and there's no protective case to protect it when not in use so you can keep yours own do need own or use a pillowcase to put it on. It doesn't really make sense to use a cutting mat because, if you turn it over to use that side, your ironing mat will get dirtier over time and much faster. The outer fabric of the ironing side cannot be removed for washing.

Pros
  • Quilted
Cons
  • Slightly torn
