Review on 🧱 U S Gypsum 380270072 Quart Ready-To-Use Joint Compound - Off-White, 1.75 pt: High-Quality Solution for Seamless Wall Repairs by Rick Kreutzer

This is a wave of products I'm not sure about, I can always trust Sheetrock JC (seam joint). I've been buying this for years and always stick with the green container for my needs. This latest project required no earthwork but filled gaps along the top of the drywall edge in the basement from about 1/8" to 3/4" at the largest point. 1/4' and fills up easily with no tape and doesn't crack after 2 weeks (I left them on for that time to see if they would hold up). Based on past experience, anything larger than 1/4 inch should have a fastening tape as this product is not designed to fill gaps and can tear over time. Surprisingly, some of the areas I filled in at the 1/2" and 3/4" area didn't crack and some had minor cracks. I sanded and glued to make it look better before painting.
